The Frenchie community is back at it again in Washington Square Park, this time for a noble cause—spreading love for Breast Cancer Awareness. The event was organized by Polo Spreads Love, a company inspired by French Bulldog, Polo, who was born to spread love to those who need it most.
The dog park was filled with Frenchies dressed in pink to support the cause, while pet parents gathered to share stories, snap photos, and make new friends. Even local news Pix11 was there to capture the excitement.
Omar and Romeo said hello in their matching pink bandanas.
Walter Cronkite may not have even noticed he was at a Frenchie pawty. He was too engrossed in his tennis ball shenanigans, as always.
Mickey Walker must’ve overslept. He showed up to party in his PJs!
Romeo played referee as Tyson and Polo prepared to throw down. “Alright guys, let’s have a good, clean fight.”
Walter finally took a break from his tennis ball to get in on the action.
Romeo helped spread the love by giving kisses to his buddy, DouDou. Someone seems a little jealous.
Looks like Walter found his tennis ball again!
Tuppee, Phoebe, Mickey Walker, DouDou, Romeo, and Walter lined up for a group shot!
As did everybody else.
Tongues could not be contained.
Whoa! There goes a…
Streaker!!!
Beans showed his support in his bright pink hoodie. Real men wear pink, right Beans?
Check out that drool. Clean up in aisle 5!
“Hey, you don’t look French to me…
These two seemed to be taking this whole “spreading love” thing quite literally.
Romeo scored some treats for being undeniably adorable in his pink bandana.
“Hey Romeo, can I have one of those treats?” “You’re kidding, right?”
All in all, the day was a massive success and everyone had a great time.
We had an excellent turnout with 20+ Frenchies, as well as a few visitors from other breeds.
Looks like baby DouDou didn’t want to leave. It’s okay, DouDou. We’ll see you again soon.
How about in two weeks?! In case you missed this meetup, catch us on October 26 in your best costume for a chance to win some cool prizes! Frenchies always have the best costumes 😉
So much love and thanks to @Polo_Runs_NY for putting this inspiring event together and gathering so many pups together in honor of raising awareness for a special cause.
About Polo:
Polo was born in the streets of NYC in January of 2012. Through his upbringing and absorption of the rich culture of the city, Polo realized immediately what he loved doing most, spreading love. His frequent visits at hospitals, participation in Cancer awareness walks, homeless shelter food drives, and a constant need to be an activist for helping others, allowed his philanthropy to gain instant recognition.
